Field Trip

Spring break was last week for Ameridad so we headed to our favorite spot to visit, Carasburg. While we there we took advantage of the nice weather and headed for Bob Evan's for brunch, this was grandpa and grandma's first alone trip taking Cara out in the car.

Seats belts on and ready to go.

A little coloring while we waited for the food to come.

The drinks are at the table and only a matter of time for the food to come.

Big girls can feed themselves and not need help.

With full tummies it was time to leave the restaurant.

Arriving back at Cara's it was then time to take advantage of the beautiful day and have a wagon ride.

This was a morning filled with play, lunch, a ride in the car, shopping at Walmart, and a wagon ride. I was not sure who was more tired that night, Cara or the grandparents.

Happy Birthday Scott

Ameridad's spring break from work was this past week and we headed to Carasburg to spend some time. Along with having fun time with Cara and visiting with her parents we celebrated Scott's birthday.

Waiting for dinner at The Red Lobster.

Ameridad took us to Red Lobster picked by the birthday guy for a celebration for Scott and Grandma F, she shares the same birthday. After having a delicious dinner we went back to Scott's for cake, ice cream and presents.

Singing Happy Birthday to Scott & Grandma F.

Enjoying the delicious cake and ice cream.

Needing a little clean up before the presents are opened.

Cara helping her Daddy open the present she got for him.

We wish Scott and Grandma F a very Happy Birthday and many more to come. So glad that we were in town to celebrate!

The Beauty Of Winter

This picture was taken at our house a week ago looking out of the front door.

Looking out our back door.

Say what you want but it really is pretty . . .

. . . a little bit of work . . .

. . .OK a lot of work . . .

. . . finally the work is done. Now we can wait until the next winter storm comes, which is being forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday, and try to remember what warmer weather was like.
