Three years ago today our family was blessed with the birth of our first grandchild. Cara has brought so much happiness to us and when I try to find the words to say how much she has added to our family the tears of joy will stream down my face.
Grandchildren are such a wonderful gift of life. As a parent you have the responsibilities of all that goes with raising your child but being a grandparent you can set back and just enjoy all the time you spend together. The love is unconditional and endless.
Wishing our little princess the happiest of birthdays!
Love you bunches!!

Happy Birthday, Cara!
Cara says thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for her birthday post! Looking forward to celebrating with you tonight!
Where did our little baby go? All I see know is a big girl! And where has the time gone?
Wish I could have been there to celebrate with you all. At least we got to see each other on Skype. When I make it to the States (either in the fall or spring) I am going to host an UNbirthday party for Cara! We will invite all of her best stuffed animals, bake cupcakes together and have a party! Maybe we will even invite her Mommie and Grandparents (heheheh, of course we will). Hey, if we can celebrate Thanksgiving in October, we can celebrate Cara's birthday when ever we wish!
It has been fun to watch Cara grow, even if for a distance. When she asked me if I was going to go to her party, I think I heard my heard break. It stinks to live so far from her, but hope one day that I will be her "cool aunt who lives in Italy". I also dream about the day when she can come to Italy to stay with her aunt and uncle.
Happy Birthday Miss Cara! We all love you so much!
